As per what Shaikh Waseeullah Abbas mentioned that he had guests in his house, and he advised them to have high aspirations while seeking knowledge. After the Azan of Isha he got up for Salah and collapsed, he was confirmed dead when the ambulance arrived.
I used to visit him often on my journeys to Makkah, he was extremely humble, would take time out for a nobody like me. Undoubtedly one of the sharpest and most read individuals I have met.
An expert on manuscripts especially of Ibn Taymiyah and Ibn al-Qayyim. When he would speak gems would come out of his mouth, you’d wish he never stops. At times we would sit after zuhr and it seemed like Asr came too soon. Big loss for the Ummah!
